Sveafastigheter’s board has set high standards for energy conservation. The company spends approximately 120 million SEK per year on district heating, and that figure needs to come down.

Jonas Larsson also sees a major benefit in the fact that tenants will be more satisfied, thanks to the AI-controlled system ensuring a more consistent indoor temperature.

With Algeno’s service, property management companies own the data that is collected. The service also includes Algeno’s web application, which clearly visualizes data from the properties. Having control over the data means that Jonas and his colleagues can perform analyses and make adjustments in real time.

– Until now, we’ve been purchasing that data. It’s often of poor quality and costs a lot of money, so this will be cheaper for us in the long run, he says.

Once Algeno’s service has been rolled out across the entire portfolio, Jonas believes it will serve as a helpful tool for the technicians, making their day-to-day work easier.
