Algeno Peak Power
We optimize your heat consumption over time to reduce costly power spikes without compromising your comfort.

Peak Power is integrated directly into Algeno's predictive control system and adds power output as an active optimization parameter.
Since the system already knows the building’s thermal inertia and looks 48 hours ahead, we can adjust the heating output in advance without the tenants noticing any difference in the indoor climate.
The control plan takes into account both total energy consumption and current prices, which allows the system to schedule heat supply for the times when it is most cost-effective.
The service automatically plans the heat supply to even out power consumption and avoid costly peaks.

Peak Power is based on the same digital twin that manages your daily heating control. This allows us to reduce power peaks without compromising indoor comfort.
Thanks to the digital twin, we know exactly how much energy is stored in the building’s structure. This allows us to adjust the power output in a timely manner without compromising the tenants’ comfort.
As an energy technician, you can use the analysis tools to document exactly how much the power peaks have been reduced and how this affects the building’s energy performance over time.
By distinguishing between the natural behavior of the building and temporary load peaks, Peak Power becomes a tool that not only saves money, but also increases understanding of the technical status of the property.

Control and Optimization for Energy-Efficient Buildings
Getting started with AI-powered heating control shouldn't be complicated. We combine our technical expertise with a deep commitment to help you understand, integrate and maximize the value of Algeno into your property portfolio.

Algeno is a cloud-based service that integrates with BMS and SCADA systems via API. No new hardware, no locally installed servers, and no replacement of existing control systems is required.
The open communication infrastructure, in which property owners send and receive data from Algeno via an API, makes it easy and straightforward to scale the service to more properties. There are no specific hardware requirements for the sub-centers, and you can use any vendor for your control systems. Here is a selection of those we have integrated with in the past:

The No. We are hardware independent. This means that you own and choose your own technical infrastructure, while our solution can be integrated with existing systems.
The more sensors, the better the control! To get an accurate picture of the temperature distribution in the building, reference sensors need to be placed in several different locations. As a general guideline, we recommend that approximately 30% of the building be covered by temperature sensors.
Yes. Our AI is trained for a few weeks before it is activated. During the training period, the system is controlled by an advanced PID controller to ensure stable operation.
No. The PID controller we use during the training period is at least as effective as your existing control system.
