Algeno wins E-Prize of the Year 2025

“It feels absolutely fantastic and shows that we’re on the right track. It’s especially inspiring because we were nominated by a client, Örebrobostäder. I’d like to dedicate this award to them and everyone else on the Algeno team,” says CEO Per Adolfsson. The E-Prize is Sweden’s largest energy award in the business sector and is presented by Dagens industri, Aktuell Hållbarhet, and the energy group E.ON. The aim is to highlight the most innovative solutions driving the energy transition forward in the categories of Renewable Energy, Energy Optimization, and Sustainable Transportation.

The jury’s statement, published by Aktuell Hållbarhet reads: “Algeno demonstrates how technology and innovation can make a real difference in energy use—not just in theory, but in practice. With a solution that is already in operation and clearly contributes to both efficiency and reduced environmental impact, they are leading the way toward a more resource-efficient business sector.”
