Algeno expands AI-driven heating control in additional Vasakronan properties across Stockholm, Malmö, and Gothenburg. The solution is designed to reduce energy consumption and provide a more consistent indoor climate.
Algeno already manages heating in several of Vasakronan's properties in Stockholm, Uppsala, and Malmö. Most of these are office spaces, with the first properties connected during the 24/25 heating season. The scope is now expanding to include around fifty heating systems, adding more properties in Malmö and Stockholm, while also implementing AI control in some properties in Gothenburg. The rollout has already begun and will continue throughout October to ensure the system is operational for as much of the heating season as possible.
With Algeno Monitor, operations teams gain an overview of the entire portfolio, allowing for faster troubleshooting. The service also serves as a tool for daily operations, such as implementing decreases in temperature during nights and weekends. During operational meetings, Algeno's operations team reviews performance trends together with Vasakronan's energy experts and facility staff, always with the goal of achieving a more consistent indoor climate.
For Algeno, this agreement is an important step in demonstrating that AI control works at scale for one of the Nordic region's largest property owners.
"For us, the partnership with Vasakronan is incredibly important. They are a major player with a large portfolio who have long worked actively with energy efficiency, yet they see that there is more potential to be gained. With their property data in such good order, it is easy to integrate Algeno's service, and with a technical organization that is both curious and competent, I look forward to our continued development together," says Per Adolfsson (CEO of Algeno).
